Celebrating our love of ABBA and the 21st Birthday of ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’

 FOR ALL DANCING QUEENS - 4 DAY Celebration of all things ABBA.
'ABBAR' returns to The 86 for this year's Midsumma Festival.  Celebrating the music of ABBA and 21 years since their music featured in the iconic queer film 'The Adventures of Priscilla-Queen of the Desert'. 
Spread over 4 days kicking off on the Saturday night with a 'Priscilla Party' with DJ's and shows, followed by a special live 'ABBA Tribute performance act and ABBAoke' on the Sunday night. 'Priscilla - Trivia' on the Monday and our annual 'Dress Up & Sing-A-Long' Free BBQ on Tuesday's Australia Day holiday.

6 Hours of tunes from Melbourne's best mix master DJ ARGONAUT and featuring a very special live 'ABBA' Drag performance with Drag sensations POLLY FILLA & CHRISTINA ANDREWS.

SUN 24 JAN - ABBAR Tribute & AbbaOke night
Join Agnetha, Frida, Benny & Bjorn for a live ABBA performance along with a special once off AbbaOke.  You can sing your favourite ABBA songs.

MON 25 JAN - ABBAR Priscilla Trivia night
Know all there is to know about the iconic Australian Film Priscilla Queen of the Desert.  The film celebrates it's 21st birthday this year and we are celebrating by hosting a FREE 'Priscilla Trivia Night'.  Prizes up for grabs.  So get your team together and get to The 86 on the Public Holiday eve night.

TUES 26 JAN - ABBAR Free BBQ & SingALong
We fire up the BBQ again and have a camp afternoon of reciting lines from the iconic Australian Film 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'.  Get your favourite costumes out, brush up on your queen banter and get in and celebrate Australia Day with us.
